In his speech, the director of the agency noted that our country is implementing consistent measures aimed at reducing the state's participation in the economy, creating new opportunities for the private sector, and attracting investments.

In particular, the state stake in Coca-Cola Uzbekistan was sold for $252 million, the state stake in Ferganaazot for $140 million, and the 75.2 percent state stake in the Samarkand Automobile Plant for $80 million.

Special attention was also paid to the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PF-177, aimed at further reducing the state's participation in the economy and accelerating privatization processes.

In accordance with the decree, it is planned to put up for sale state shares in the authorized capital of 84 companies, 1,242 real estate objects, and 8 thousand hectares of land plots in 2026.

In addition, the task is to liquidate or reorganize 85 state-owned enterprises, as well as to put up for sale assets and land plots of state and state-owned enterprises worth a total of about 100 trillion soums, and to ensure that at least 14 trillion soums of proceeds are received from privatization.

As part of the new stage of privatization, additional mechanisms are being introduced aimed at faster release of state assets to the market, expanding opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs, and increasing the efficiency of using state property.

The press conference also presented the work being carried out and the results achieved in the privatization of land plots.

Since the beginning of 2026, 2.8 thousand hectares of land plots have been sold to entrepreneurs through 11,796 lots for a total of 4.7 trillion soums.

The agency's director also provided information about the activities of electronic trading platforms, as well as new opportunities being created for entrepreneurs and citizens in purchasing state assets and land plots.

One of the important topics of the press conference was the issue of new regulation of real estate activities.

As noted, on August 7, 2026, the Law "On Real Estate Activities" was adopted. This law is aimed at developing the real estate services market, increasing its transparency and professionalism.

In accordance with the Law, the State Assets Agency is designated as the authorized state body in the field of real estate activities.

The law provides for the formation of a single open register of realtors and real estate organizations, the establishment of requirements for certification of the qualifications and professional training of specialists, as well as the introduction of national standards for real estate services.

Another important innovation is the introduction of a multilisting system. This system allows you to consolidate information about real estate objects in a single electronic system and ensure the exchange of information between realtors. This system is aimed at ensuring openness and transparency of information in the real estate market, developing a competitive environment, and expanding the possibilities of using information for market participants.

The law also establishes clear requirements for protecting the rights and interests of clients when providing real estate services, preventing conflicts of interest, and ensuring the confidentiality of information known to realtors.

At the end of the press conference, representatives of the Agency answered questions from journalists and bloggers regarding privatization, land sales, e-commerce activities, and new regulations on the real estate market.
